We’re proud to have recently completed the full refurbishment of the Moira Preston Building at Burnley Youth Theatre, delivering a modern, practical and durable space that will be enjoyed by staff, visitors and the wider community for years to come.
This comprehensive refurbishment involved a complete transformation of the existing facilities, with every stage of the project carefully planned and delivered to the highest standard.
The works included:
- Full removal of the existing kitchen, toilet facilities, internal walls and floor tiles.
- Installation of a new liquid damp proof membrane (DPM), followed by a full floor screed and new acoustic safety flooring throughout.
- A brand-new kitchen, redesigned to provide a more practical and welcoming space for Burnley Youth Theatre guests and visitors.
- New accessible toilet facilities, complete with compact laminate wall panelling for a high-quality, hard-wearing finish, along with a hand dryer and baby changing facilities.
The completed refurbishment has transformed the building into a bright, modern and functional space, with durable finishes that are designed to withstand heavy daily use while maintaining a high-quality appearance.
